Science Week on Turbet Island

Myself and botanist Bridget Keenan hosted a botanist walk and cameraless workshop on Turbet Island as part of Science week - The rain didnt damped the day - great to find so many plants - an abundance of wild strawberry, various ferns, mosses, and many beautiful native trees amongst some of the plants we discussed.

What a fantasic day for our Heritage Week event on Lough MacNean

Thanks to the local fishermen for taking us out on the day and providing laughs along the way.
