Wetlands Day Event

Great turnout for the Wetlands day events in Blacklion, with great attendance throughout the day. Strawhat making with Fionnuala Maxwell.  Brigid crossmaking with Morag Donald and Dani Tuillier Tree walk by the Belcoo river, led by Eoghan Connoughtan  of LAWPro and the Gaeilic Woodlands Project Kate and Alan from Westcountry Willows giving a demo and  workshop on how to weave a willow bird feeder Bee Smith sacred water poetry workshop Ceramic work created by Jim Fee, workshop participants inspired by the wetlands. To finish the day - we held a short parade wearing the mummers hats across the border from Blacklion to Belcoo with traditional Irish music in Maguires pub in Belcoo.
