What a fantasic day for our Heritage Week event on Lough MacNean

Thanks to the local fishermen for taking us out on the day and providing laughs along the way. Thanks to Blacklion Tidy Towns for helping to organise the event - Thanks to Cavan Arts office, Cavan Heritage Office, Cavan Geopark and LAWPRO for their kind support in making this event happen. Thanks to Cathal Flood, Cavan CC Biodiversity Officer for all his support and the Catharileach for reading 'The Yellow Bittern' to close a wonderful day. Thanks to everyone who came - we were blessed with the weather. And of course a massive thanks to Bridget Keenen from The Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland for helping to guide the trip on the lake.
